what is the top speed of a Golf?

Golf mark 4, 5 doors, 2002, TDI, what will the top speed be? how long will it take to get from 0-60?

A 1.9 liter diesel engine putting out 90 HP at the flywheel? Even considering it only weighs 3034 lbs, you’d need a calander to clock the 0-60. Also, diesel engines don’t like turning RPMs, which is why the 90 HP is measured at 3750 RPMs. If your engine peaks at 3750, you wont get diddly for a top-speed, even with a 6-speed.

If I was to take a wild guess, I’d put the 0-60 around 8 seconds, and top-speed somwhere in the very low 100′s.

Put it this way, my camaro puts out 310 at the flywheel, I have a 0-60 in the low 4 second range, and top-speed is about 165. My car only weighs another 600-700 lbs.
