How do you find them? Where in algebra would you use these? Are they found in all graphs, or just specific ones?
The zero(s) of a function are the values of x when y=0; more accurately, when f(x)=0.
To find the zero(s), set y=0 and solve for x. Every function will have at least one zero; if it doesn’t, it is not a function. Not all graphs will have a zero, but not all graphs are functions.
On a graph, the zeros can be found by looking where the function crosses the x-axis (that is where y=0). They are used in math to solve equations, to find maximums and minimums, and other applications.
