Travel to Portland, OR and Seattle, WA. Suggestions??
I'll be in Oregon (Portland area in particular), but with 10 days for travel is likely to go as far north as Seattle, and perhaps as far south as the redwoods. I've never been in the region, but I hope someone can give some advice on "not miss" items. Personally, I like to eat what I want to find unique places that are high in the charm and flavor, not so high in the price if possible. Particularly interested in a large pizza, bagels, food ethnic, or some of the pies coming out of Oregon berries. I want to see unique places, both natural and human, and perhaps take a festival Seasonal / What kind of event. Is there a Chinatown anywhere? I heard that you can go with the orcs or something kyaking like that, it sounds dangerous, "What are the chances of actually being killed? for physical activities, all I can think is hiking and Frisbee golf. Thank you for the suggestions, I can not wait to see what exists.
Our region is known for its natural beauty. So if you want the door to you, there are many things to see and enjoy the spectacular scenery of Mount Hood and the ski lodge there. They have a wonderful restaurant, I am sure he has at least the cake or ice cream Marionberry for dessert in their ads. It is the coast of Oregon. With two Indian casinos "for match. A beach in Lincoln City. The other is on the way to the beach. The beach has a magnificent view of the kites, walking dogs and children watch play. brave to try their luck at walking on cooling the oil as it comes in. Cannon Beach is the only beach that I recommend. Seaside, it was the day in the 40s today and looks tired. The beach is without personality, and reflects the 30s and 40s. Haystack Rock Cannon has been in the surf and it is impressive. There are swimming around when the tide is low. Starfish saltwater and live another life in the pools until the tide again cleared the sea Tolavana beach is nearby and offers easy access to sand and the water's edge "of. Near the parking lot, MB is re-ant for a bowl of clam chowder, cakes and sandwiches. And breakfast in the morning. Prices have increased because most restaurants have, due to the gas crisis. There is a great pub on the main street of Cannon Beach is a big burger. I do not remember the name of the place. But I think this is the tavern in the center of the city. We refer to eat once and loved. There are restaurants for a family dinner, and along the strip. Visit the beach, more day. Allow an hour and a half for traffic. To make the long journey south to see the Redwoods, our family has had two days of winding roads. Cut one and on the road and zipped back to the coast of California again to see the trees. I feel more valued. Are so high that you are looking to their dizzy heights. And in this dark grove where the "trees of Mystery" are. There is a statue of Paul Bunyon in the lobby with the Blue Ox Babe. He was there at the end of the 50s, when I was there .. There are the sea lion caves south of Florence, Oregon. You take the elevator down to see the cave where they live. And the barking echoes in the cave. There were walks in the sand dunes near Florence. Where can I rent a buggy and downwardly sand dunes there. You can cut more than I think and take Eugene to the coast and drive south of Florence. The road is windy there in the Crescent City. Two ways downs. I found it very scary. It is a five-hour drive from Portland to the border, and I want you to use the AAA help plan your route to save time. I do not know how long it takes to cut the coast. But it is long enough. A day is lost probably lead. You can take the bus to leave their conduct, and to the head. You can sleep on the bus may arrive in the morning to hire. I think you try to put too much in a short period of time. Maybe you should focus on what the end of Oregon and how you want to see Seattle. Traffic is bad in the Seattle area. We took the train and saved the nerves. And it takes about four hours during the train if I remember. Dome is a good line of sight and train travel in comfort. I do not know the boat to see whales. I guess that's something that does not push for tourism. I do I would not get on the air in a single kayak. How long can swim? LOL. I heard there are areas of whale watching in the north of Seattle Probe. And there is a zone along the south coast of Oregon in custody for their migration. I have a friend back from the island of Cypris in the north. And he loved the whale during stay. But seen from the coast, not in a kayak. For a relaxing vacation, you do not want to spread their time so thin. Focus on what you most believe that, then allocate the necessary time. AAA must be able to estimate the mileage, the time it takes to reach different points. And if you find that the conduct will be the largest of their time here. Leave a journey north or south, for another visit. Or maybe your library to see Journey area, Oregon and elsewhere. This will give you a better idea what is to offer the tourist. And consider the cost of gas, where you can find a place open after hours, will be a relevant consideration in coastal areas during the trip. Sidewalks draw in their villages, too often, too earlier.
