Are movies dictated by feminists or are they put in rolls out of fear of gender descrimination?

I’m on the third or fourth movie where there seems to be women in movies where they don’t belong but are cast anyway. It’s not that I care but some people just don’t fit in certain rolls if you know what I mean and it seems movie producers put them in the film just the same. First I watched A-Team and they put a woman in the film tracking down the A-Team, nothing like the original series. Now, I just happened to watch Predators and the first thing that popped up in the Jungle was a woman with a gun. I dont’ ever remember seeing the original predator movie with her in it. I could be totally wrong but isn’t this odd? It’s like casting “Little Women” with Hulk Hogan or something. I just don’t get it. What do you think?

I haven’t seen either of your examples, but that has been a trend for a while. It just looks stupid when they have a 110 pound girl fighting toe to toe with a guy who’s twice her size. I don’t know why they keep putting crap like that out. It’s insulting to men and women alike.
