All right, I have to start out by making a confession . It wasn’t until recently that I had ever heard the word Koozie or that it really was a word at all . Nor did I have any idea what a Koozie was when I first heard someone mention that they have one . So I got curious and went on a little hunt !

Ah, it is the covers for your beverage to help keep them cool longer . I have to admit that as a teenage girl who enjoyed watching sports I may have owned what I now know is a Koozie. The Koozie may have stated for the world to see that “if it sweats and wears a number, I’ll watch it”. I had no idea these babies were still out there . What a great gift idea for my family . Right then I decided that my daughters soccer team needed some . Well, at least the parents and coaches needed a little something to show off their team support. Having them at all the games is hilarious . The kids had matching uniforms and we silly parents had matching personalized can koozies.

You will probably think I’m nuts but these items are so great that I also got a huge order for a large family reunion . They are functional, fun and easy to keep clean. I still can’t believe that I went so long thinking the Koozie was gone forever . Well, I have a couple new ones in my life and have placed good old reliable into semi retirement. My original Koozie is hanging right in there for a few more bbqs.

Any time we have to get a gift I think of unique personalized koozies I can get for the recipiet. I love getting them engraved with a favourite quote and or sports team logo. How can you really be a sports fan if your not drinking your beverage during the game out of something without your team logo!
