do newer/better irons give you more distance?
i bought a starter box set of clubs a while back, the heads are made of stainless steel(topflite xl7000) slowly but surely upgraded my clubs (just the woods) i think its time to upgrade my irons , would a better brand iron get me more distance? i heard that clubs have a bounce characteristic to them and cheap clubs like the ones i have now have a low bounce, im looking into nike callaway or taylor made to get a new iron set, would these have a better bounce and give me more distance
