I have a 60 dollar gift card to the GAP. I hate the GAP. Is there anyway I can return it for money?
I don’t know.. no offense to Gap lovers, Gap is really plain and classy.. I’m not that type of dress. PLUS Gap is REALLY expensive for some plain clothes. I normally do not get any spending money because I don’t have a job at the moment and my parents are broke (i’m 16). I’m not planning to give 60 bucks away… But I really hate Gap. I can buy 3 shirts for 60 bucks.. at the Gap, i can only buy one!!! i don’t know is there a way i can return it for money?
You cannot use Gap gift cards at Old Navy or Banana. Gift cards are brand-specific, unlike the credit cards which can be used at all of Gap Inc’s brands.
You cannot return a gift card, unless you buy one and on the SAME DAY at the SAME STORE decide you want to “return” it — then the transaction can be voided off the register it was purchased on.
An option you have is to use your $60 gift card to purchase smaller amounts of gift cards which you could give as gifts, or have your friends buy them off you … for example, buy 6 $10 gift cards, and someone you know might want to buy 1 off you for $10. That way, 1 person isnt obligated to spend $60.
Or sell it for face value on ebay and just offer free shipping, since it would only cost 1 stamp to mail it.
