Golf course wedding ideas?

My bf is a pro golf instructor, so I thought it might be a fun idea to have our wedding at a golf course. We live in Westchester, NY. Any idea on the cost? Also, any related theme party favor ideas, etc?

Talk to the club(s) where your fiance works. They may be able to make you a deal on renting a banquet room since he works there. The cost will vary depending on the venue. (Also be sure to pay attention to whether or not you’re required to use their dining services and if tables and chairs are included – those things can make a huge difference in your cost)

My favorite idea for a golf theme is to have a little putting green set up in the reception. Guests sink a hole in one to get you guys to kiss. Or they can get a dance with you or however you want to do it. It’s just a fun way to get guests out of their seats and doing something.
